It's all happening here, I've been so busy I haven't had a chance to blog. Plus I have been toying with the idea of getting rid of the blog all together. I just figured that with using Instagram and Facebook, I was wondering if we really needed it? I feel like I might be doubling up on things, since what photo's I post here have usually been seen on Instagram and facebook. However it has been pointed out to me that at least here I can elaborate on what we have been up too. So for now it stays. Maybe I need to make it a little more interesting and personal, I have toyed with that idea too before but do people really want to hear me crap on more than I do?

Anyways, better get into it then eh? So new merch is here! It is fabulous! We have girls singlets (with moth print in Gold), in either white or black. Men's t-shirts (girls can still wear these too) in marble grey, with red tiger print. We also have that same print in black, on a white guys singlet too. We did a really small run of crew neck jumpers, we were just doing them for family and friends but thought we may as well sell a few while we were at it. If they sell well, we will probably get more. So T-shirts and Singlets are all $30, crew jumpers are $50.

Here is our attempt at modeling them, can you tell we are uncomfortable having our photo taken? Well we are....
Crew Neck Jumper- $50
Girls singlet in white/gold print- $30
Girls singlet black/gold print- $30
Men's singlet, white/black print- $30
Guys T-Shirt- Marble grey/red print
What is more exciting is that we finally have our "photo station" (this is what I am calling it anyways) set up! Finally! Thanks to Lauren who came around to give me some pointers on how I should have the lights, camera etc set up. So although I am by far from perfect at taking pics, I am sure with time I will get there. The main thing is we no longer have to take photo's of people's work out on the balcony- haha! No more getting half naked for all of Hyde Park to see and I am sure that will be appreciated come winter time.

In tattoo news, Matt's finished a few things lately and started many more. So without further a do.....

Started this fancy lady, with a peacock on her head

Finished this one this week.

Finished this one a few months back but we didn't have any photo's.
Vince had both sleeves done by Matt a while back but again, only just got a chance to take some decent pics of them. So they are Rajin and Fujin (Japanese God's of Lightening and Thunder)

Jamie and Simo have been super busy but most of the work is larger ongoing stuff, so not much to report this week. But Jamie did finish this sweet swan:

The Black Swan

Guest Spots! Don't forget we have some awesome artists coming in, so it's a great opportunity to get tattooed by one of them. Just to recap:

Mitch Love: From 19th December to the 3rd of Jan. Think Mitch is now fully booked for when he is here.

Aaron Bond: From 19th of December till 20th of January. Still has availability, so you need to contact the shop to book in for him.

Terry James: From 5th of December till the 9th of December. Call the shop to book for him too, spaces are filling though.

Ben Grover: From 30th Jan, till 3rd of Feb. Call the shop for bookings.

Conventions: We have a bunch of conventions Matt is working at coming up real soon, here's the dets on them:

Melbourne (Rites of Passage Festival): April 27th, 28th and 29th: (Still taking bookings)

Unfortunately we won't be making the Surf n Ink or Adelaide Tattoo convention (we have stuff that conflicts with the dates those two events are on).

VACATIONS!:

Jamie and Simone are away from 24th December until the 6th of February. They are taking 6 weeks vaca- so if you have ongoing work that you want finished best get on it!

Matt and Sam are away just from the 17th of December until the 28th of December. We will also be away from 11th of February till the 27th of February.

Ok, me thinks that might be it for now. Have a fab weekend everyone!!

Bad News

Sorry to say that I'm back! I've been told there's been a few calls for me so if you're looking to continue work I'm here and ready, so get in touch. It's been a hectic couple of weeks but it's great to be home.

Some more bad news is that Eva will be moving on at the end of the month, so anyone looking to book in with her, her last day will be Thursday 24/11. She's moving to Greenford and we'll have more details in the coming week.

On a cheerier note, our 2nd Birthday Party is in less than a month's time on Friday 2nd December. We have a Badass DJ booked, a raffle to give away tattoo vouchers and lots more. If you want to help us celebrate then email getmein@accomplicetattoo.co.uk and you'll be added to the guestlist. There's no door charge and I'm going to look into getting some drink deals to get things merry!
It will be held at Trinity bar 378-380 Station Road, Harrow, HA1 2DE and will be from 8 - 11, and then the regular Trinity club night will carry on if you want to carry on as well!

Gnarly is the norm.

I always really like trying new stuff with wheat. This one I'm really happy with.

The original artwork for this tattoo was drawn by Michael Seiben. He does Roger Skateboards, that's the real deal.

Last god-talk at the Edge Skatepark on Pacific. I was glad to be there, at least not everyone in the room had been indoctrinated.

Barnacles and cattails.

I just got back a bunch of photos, so keep checkin' in.

I really enjoyed putting these barnacles on Kelsey. Species, I'm into it.

Typha latifolia, also known as a cattail, on Joanna. Simple tattoos really satisfy.

Thanks for checking out the blog.

So I am going to totally cheat and just upload everything that's been uploaded to instagram already. So those who follow us on instagram, sorry, nothing new to see here. But keep reading anyway!

Terry James will be gracing us with his presence again in early December. Dates are still to be confirmed but it will most probably be one of the first few weeks in December. So if you missed out on getting tattooed from him the first time around, now is your chance. I will be taking bookings for him, so if your keen call the shop. Check out his work at http://frommelbournewithlove.tumblr.com/ or you can follow him on Instagram too!

Matt started a lot of new stuff this week, which seems to be the case a lot at the moment. Matt has only maybe one or two spots left for the year, for anyone wanting to start larger work. There are a couple space left if your wanting one off tattoos but that's pretty much it. It would be really great if all the larger work he has started this year would come back to be finished, we would love to update his portfolio with more up to date work. Hint hint, people with ongoing stuff get your asses back here, pronto!

Jamie and Simone are also looking really heavily booked right now, so if you want to get tattooed before the silly season, better get on it! This is probably the busiest time of the year for us, so don't leave it to the last minute!

Some may have read on our facebook page that Simone is going up in price as of 2012. I did explain on the facebook post for those with ongoing work, the rate will stay the same until the tattoo is finished. So please don't panic. We have had a few calls from people panicking that she has already gone up in price and I will re-iterate, if your tattoo was started at the rate of $120 an hour, it will stay that what till the tattoo is completed (however please don't leave it two years to get it finished). So her new rate will be the same as Jamie, $150 an hour. Matt will be staying at the rate of $160 per hour, so no need to panic there either :P

Now for pics:
By Matt: Memorial tattoo for Kieran's Mum, who loved Orchids.
By Matt: Got a good start on Kirsty's Mermaid. The bottom part of the line work will be done next week.
By Matt: Started this one yesterday.  Ryujin (which is a God of the ocean, which can take on a dragon or human form). Matt put some fish, crabs and a jellyfish in there (as these creatures are said to be his messengers).
By Matt: This was last Saturday, some progress on Jigokudayu (Japanese courtesan)
Check out the new Tattz mag, issue 13. Matty got a nice 8 page write up in there.
Matt's snake prints came in, $30 ea

We have also ordered a bunch of new merch! We have guys T-shirts and singlets and a bunch of girl singlets coming in and they are not ALL black this time either! They should be here in around 2 weeks. So we are now selling all older T-shirts and singlets for half price, to make way for the newies! $15 each, there aren't a whole bunch left, be quick. If you don't remember what they look like, here they are again:
This singlet comes in mens or womens

Goodbye until November!

I'm going to be off on Tuesday until 10th November (but Jo and Eva will still be here), so before I leave, here's some things we've been tattooing recently.
Also, I'd like to thank everyone who got a RNLI tattoo, we managed to raise £100 for the charity and bang out a few nifty tattoos, so thanks for getting them done!

Joe

Finished Mauro's other half Sleeve, (he has this dragon koi on his right arm), well, it's almost finished, we still have the inside to do but it's good to get the dragon completed!

Had lots of fun tattooing this on Adrian, we're almost finished with this sleeve as well and should hopefully get it done on Monday.

Always good to tattoo a skull!

Hayden's first tattoo was definitely a brave start! Nice to do something a little different to what I usually do.
