2013

Happy new year, and welcome to our new website. The decision was made to give the site a do over, the old one had served us well for the past few years but we've gone for a brighter and hopefully easier to navigate site for you to use.
Over Christmas we've been very busy with a lot of large work in, there's some photos in this post, but Andy and I now have our own portfolios online for you to have a look through, just click on the Galleries link.
We want to wish all our clients the best for the new year and we'll see you soon.

Award Winning

Jo and myself worked at the East Coast Expo a few weeks ago and I'm proud to say I picked up the First Place Award in the Traditional tattoo category. It was a great convention to work at and a brilliant way to finish the weekend.

This Christmas we will be open up to and including the 22nd, we'll be back in the studio from the 27th-29th. In the new year we'll be open from the 3rd and we're looking forward to 2013 as we have a lot of big projects on the go and we're looking forward to more coming through the door.

Anyway, here are a few things we've been up to

Farrell

I'll get some photos of Andy's work to put up soon as well, and in the new year we'll put up some of Jo's work as well. He's been turning out some really nice pieces recently so you're in for a treat.

Also stay up to date by following our Facebook page, it gets updated more often than here and it's an easy way to send us any questions.

Portsmouth Tattoo Convention

So the 28th/29th is just around the corner and we're all geared up ready for the Portsmouth Tattoo Convention! There aren't many advance discount tickets left, so get them while you can or pick them up at the door on the day. I've got a couple pieces booked in but I'll have space to tattoo walk ups on the day and talk about any old shit, so if you're going, then come by and say hi.
Andy will be keeping the shop open so everyone back at home won't be missing out.
It's been a while since the last post, so I think I better post some pictures. We keep a more up to date feed on the shop on our facebook page, so join that and nothing will slip by.

What I like to do when someone has a rough idea and wants it done on the day

Blue sugar skull girl on Sam

Music inspired piece

Here's a healed photo of Niran's fu dog. Tried a couple new things out and it turned out looking great

Snake on the chest

This is Freya Fox's warrior girl. She's half healed and half fresh in the photo

Close up of a traditional panther fighting a snake, the full tattoo is from wrist to elbow

Little gap filler on Tommy, who helps us out on Saturdays

Hello March

Just a few things to show, I'm gonna get some photos off of Andy to put up soon as well.

Farrell

We managed to add onto NeeNee's leg piece last month with a sweet lotus and anothing koi. Tough guy sat for 5 hours on this one

Re-drew a bit of flash for Valentines day and just added my own twist to it

Put this on my brother last week, my first hot air balloon I've done, would be fun to do more uncommon/weird designs

Mark decided to get a rose right on top of his elbow, not too much to do now to finish off his sleeve

Finished Paul's koi half sleeve and added a little bit of purple to high light the waves

Teagan got this Gypsy head for her mum, just used sepia tones and a deep red, really like the finished result with the limited colours

Stacey started this over a year ago so it was good to finally finish it! Hopefully we'll put up a healed photo sometime, as the flesh colour always looks really pink when it's fresh

Happy 2012!

Hope everyone had a great holiday, we had a good rest and got straight back into work once January started!
We now have a new studio upstairs which is looking pretty neat, and we'll soon have pictures and a video tour when all the finishing touches are made, but until then, feel free to come down and have a gander for yourself.

Farrell

I finished off Mark's lower arm this month and we're now working up his arm to make a full sleeve

This ship is halfway done so far, it's on Sam who's got the pirate pin up below. We're keeping it black and grey to match up

And here are a couple of healed pieces that have come back in for us to show off

Andy

Andy started on this koi last week, just outline for now but already looking good

And to finish up, this is a sweet little superman symbol Andy did on Saturday

Goodbye until November!

I'm going to be off on Tuesday until 10th November (but Jo and Eva will still be here), so before I leave, here's some things we've been tattooing recently.
Also, I'd like to thank everyone who got a RNLI tattoo, we managed to raise £100 for the charity and bang out a few nifty tattoos, so thanks for getting them done!

Joe

Finished Mauro's other half Sleeve, (he has this dragon koi on his right arm), well, it's almost finished, we still have the inside to do but it's good to get the dragon completed!

Had lots of fun tattooing this on Adrian, we're almost finished with this sleeve as well and should hopefully get it done on Monday.

Always good to tattoo a skull!

Hayden's first tattoo was definitely a brave start! Nice to do something a little different to what I usually do.

Monday, August 22, 2011

Eva and I have been treated to some really nice pieces recently, we're both lucky to have customers who give us an idea and free skin to go to town with, and it's great to get some big pieces finished and looking better than we planned.

Joe

I managed to finish off Anthony's leg today and get a picture of the finished product.

This was a great walk-in piece on Saturday and very fun to do, F.T.W.

Zepplin art work, because they're the best band ever I'm told.

And some Boog flash finished, the top half's healed up, bottom's still red and fresh.

Busy times

Been a bit busy recently and haven't had much time to update, but here's some of what we've been doing!

Start of a dragon half sleeve, a lot more work to do but it'll end up claret and blue as Mark's a big Hammers fan for some reason

A nice dagger on Chris, fun to keep it simple and traditional

Finally got a healed picture of Dean's half sleeve

A key for Kay, really enjoyed doing this kind a black and grey work

Rose Cover up

Black and grey Swallow, lots of great traditional stuff to do

Another japanese piece as well, looking forward to putting some bright colours in this one
